It is a forensic examiner's most valuable tool used at crime scenes and in forensic laboratories worldwide to disclose evidence that cannot be detected using other, less powerful, light sources. The investigators can use high intensity, narrow-band illumination that cantrigger fluorescence in body fluids, fingerprints, fibres, drugs, accelerants, fragments of bone and tooth, and to improve the visible details of bite marks, bruises, gunshot residues and shoeprints.
