POINT LOAD TESTING SYSTEM

The GCTS PLT-2W Point Load Tester is made of high-strength anodized-aluminum that incorporates digital technology to increase precision and ease of use while reducing its size and weight.

The system can communicate wirelessly with an iPhone/iPad device using Bluetooth. The application for these devices allows the user to control and monitor the point load system directly on their device. After a test is completed, the data can be exported and shared via email.

This system also comes with platens that allow the user to perform unconfined compression tests on a specimen. Optional ultrasonic platens are available to allow the user to measure the P-wave velocity.

The GCTS PLT-2W Point Load Testing Device is an easy-to-use system that remains extremely accurate while being very portable. The system includes software to automatically collect data and report the average unconfined strength. The system is also capable of performing unconfined compression tests and can be fitted with optional ultrasonic platens to measure P-wave velocity. The system operates on battery power and uses Bluetooth wireless technology to send data in real-time to an iPhone or iTouch device.
